Joy Rodrigues is a decorative artist working from her home studio in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Inspired by the natural world, she sketches and refines to her individual, colourful and highly stylised format. Although having dabbled into the facinatingworlds of stone carving, stained glass, pastel painting and many more over the years, it is the twenty years experience gained designing and painting on porcelain and fine china that has most influenced her unique style.
Highlighted are very low edition prints of current decorative, highly stylised, florals from originals executed in acrylic, pen and pencil. Also, superb prints of original canvas work embroideries with a geological theme. All giclee prints are the very highest archival standard and superbly framed with double mounts. Unframed prints, although very limited, are also available direct from the artist by arrangement.
The exhibition also shows a variety of other work by Joy in a number of other mediums including oil, pastel, lino-cut and collage. In fact ‘Allsorts’ by Joy Rodrigues.
